Gorges de la Jonte
Land of vultures
The Gorges de la Jonte are less known than the Gorges du Tarn, but no less beautiful. These unspoiled gorges start at the junction of the Tarn and the Rozier, and make their way through cliffs and rocks up to Meyrueis. This valley inhabited by vultures houses a centre dedicated to this impressive bird. While walking the paths of the gorges, you may discover some vultures gliding in the air.
